Before the hair show carried the audience away into the world of trend looks with a spectacular performance, the hosts of the evening welcomed their guests personally: Hans Van Bylen, a member of Henkel‘s Management Board, Tina Müller, Corporate Senior Vice President for the worldwide Hair Cosmetics, Skin Care and Oral Care businesses, and Norbert Koll, Corporate Senior Vice President Schwarzkopf Professional, rejoiced over such an enthusiastic and international response.
Hans Van Bylen explained how 111 years of passion for hair was linked with the successful business history of the brand. Particularly impressive is the fact that Schwarzkopf, with sales of 1.6 billion euros in 2007, is not only the largest brand under the Henkel umbrella, but also one of the fastest-growing brands in Europe. Another top ranking goes to Taft as the number one styling brand in Europe.
The audience was impressed by the gala as well as Schwarzkopf’s innovative power – despite or because of its 111 years of existence.
Many guests celebrated with their hosts until the early morning hours and made the gala into what it truly was: an unforgettable night for body and soul!
