On the evening of October 27, 2009, Schwarzkopf presented its book “We Love Hair” during an exclusive evening event at the NRW-Forum cultural center in Düsseldorf and opened the exhibition of the same name in the center’s galleries. More than 150 guests from media, business and society circles had been invited to celebrate this 111th anniversary and be the first to dip into Schwarzkopf’s book on hair.

Among the glamorous personalities walking along the red carpet were many celebrities who had been involved in the making of the book. The list included Karl Lagerfeld and his current muse Baptiste Giabiconi, star photographers Russell James and Gabo, the Berlin illustrator Olaf Hajek, the Paris-based photo artist Kristian Schuller, and author Vladimir Kaminer. Several of the “Morning Stars” photographed by Gabo for “We Love Hair” also took part in this glittering gala, including actress and Diadermine testimonial Veronica Ferres, Schwarzkopf ambassador Eva Padberg, jazz musician Till Brönner, and model Shermine Shahrivar. Other prominent guests were Schwarzkopf hair expert Armin Morbach, Schwarzkopf Professional ambassador Tom Kroboth, model and Schwarzkopf testimonial Jana Ina Zarella, art curator and collector Julia Stoschek, and actress Katharina Schubert.
